YOUR BREAST SURGERY CONSULTATION

As with any cosmetic procedure, you will need a consultation before breast surgery. You will meet with Dr. Gargano, and the two of you will discuss your goals for the chosen procedure. He will perform a physical examination, and photographs may be taken as a reference.

Dr. Gargano will ask about your medical history to determine if you are a good candidate for the surgery. This will include a discussion of drug allergies, current medications, and previous procedures. He will also ask about drug, tobacco, or alcohol use; history of breast cancer; and any pre-existing health conditions.

Next, Dr. Gargano will give you instructions on what to do before and after the breast surgery, and he will describe the procedure in detail. Questions are highly encouraged. Finally, a date will be set for the surgery.

Dr. Francesco Gargano has extensively trained around the world and is committed to healing through individualized care. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Dr. Gargano received his medical degree from the Sapienza University of Rome in Italy, graduating magna cum laude. He continued his education at Sapienza University where he earned his PhD in Plastic Surgery, Human Anatomy and Dermatology, and completed his first residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
