Abdominoplasty is a procedure to reshape the excess of skin and subcutaneous tissues of the abdomen. It is performed through a lower abdominal suprapubic incision and the rectus abdominal muscles are plicated. A new umbilicus is created with a youthful appearance. The scars are concealed in the bathing suit.

Liposuction is a technique to remove the excess localized fat in areas that are resistant to non-surgical treatments. Dr. Gargano uses superficial and deep liposuction to recreate the convexity and concavity of the body. The fat is taken out using cannulas under negative pressure.

Mommy makeover: Dr. Gargano is the pioneer of several techniques of the ”mommy makeover.” Every woman after giving birth goes through deflation of the breasts and relaxation of the abdominal wall with protrusion of the abdominal contents. Dr. Gargano uses the combination of breast augmentation and mastopexy using the Yin-Yang technique. Through the incision of the abdominoplasty, the implant can be inserted limiting the amount of scars and tissue dissection.

Dr. Francesco Gargano has extensively trained around the world and is committed to healing through individualized care. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Dr. Gargano received his medical degree from the Sapienza University of Rome in Italy, graduating magna cum laude. He continued his education at Sapienza University where he earned his PhD in Plastic Surgery, Human Anatomy and Dermatology, and completed his first residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
